Is there really no per-seat tax?
Correct. Every plan has unlimited seats. The number of teammates on your org doesn't change your bill — the only meter is MAU (monthly active users hitting your flags).
What counts as an MAU?
A unique user (or context) that hit your flag-evaluation endpoint within the calendar month. We deduplicate by user key, so re-evaluating the same user 1,000 times in a month still counts as 1 MAU.
What happens if I go over my MAU limit?
Flags keep evaluating — we never break production. You get a dashboard banner and email at 80 / 100 / 120% of your cap. After a grace period (30–90 days depending on tier) we either bill the overage at $0.30–0.50 per 1,000 extra MAU, or invite you to upgrade. Elastic skips the grace period because there's no cap to breach.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you keep what you paid for.
Do you have a startup / migration program?
Yes. YC, Techstars, AngelPad, and On Deck companies — plus anyone with <$2M raised — get the Growth tier free for 12 months. Migrating from LaunchDarkly, Flagsmith, or ConfigCat? Three months of Starter or Growth on us. Email hello@feat.so with your import.
When does Enterprise make sense?
When you need SCIM, custom data residency, private Cloudflare tenancy, audit retention beyond 3 years, or a SOC 2 attestation engagement with a named CSM. Otherwise Elastic gets you all the way to multi-million MAU without a sales call.
Why is feat so much cheaper than LaunchDarkly?
We run on Cloudflare Workers + Hyperdrive. No per-connection 'service' fee, no nine-figure NYC ops budget. Our infra cost per MAU is fractions of a cent — so the price you see is the price.
