These User Terms of Service ("User Terms") govern your individual use of feat's hosted platform (the "Service"). They are between you and feat labs, inc. ("feat", "we", "us"). The organization that invited you (or that you create) is bound separately under the Customer Agreement; these User Terms cover your conduct as an individual user.
Plain-English summary: this is the short doc for individual users. Be at least 16, keep your account secure, don't abuse the service, and understand that the organization that admins your workspace controls your data inside it. The Customer Agreement covers the money, indemnities, and the commercial relationship between feat and your organization. This summary is informational; the sections below control.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. The Service is not designed for personal/consumer use; it is a business tool used by engineering and product teams.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may have only one account at a time.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't access the Service in violation of law or anyone's rights.
- Don't reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass rate limits.
- Don't upload malware, illegal content, or content you don't have rights to.
- Don't use the Service to attack or probe systems you don't own or have permission to test.
- Don't impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with an organization.
We may suspend or terminate your individual access for breach of this section even if your organization remains a Customer.
4. Your data inside an organization
When you are an Authorised User of an organization on feat, that organization (not feat) is the controller of personal data about you and any end users you interact with through the Service. Organization Admins can access your activity log, change your role, or remove your access. The Customer Agreement sets the organization's obligations to you under data-protection law.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data we collect about you as an individual (e.g., your email, your login events). It is incorporated into these User Terms by reference.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" TO YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL USER. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEAT'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU UNDER THESE USER TERMS IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100). COMMERCIAL CLAIMS BELONG UNDER THE CUSTOMER AGREEMENT, NOT THESE USER TERMS.
7. Changes
If we make material changes to these User Terms, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect and prompt you to re-accept on your next sign-in.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out. You can delete your individual account from settings; see the Privacy Policy for the data-erasure process. feat may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these User Terms.
9. Governing law
These User Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States.
